CosmoDome air inflation domes can be supplied in either blue or black external surfaces whilst the inside surface is a uniform wrinkle free grey, perfect for a Full Dome Theatre. The middle layer provides the flame retardant protection that fulfils the most stringent of fire safety requirements. Test certificates are freely available upon request. An important safety feature is that Cosmodomes have no floor and therefore it is easy to exit an audience quickly if required by simply lifting up the wall. The doorway that can allow wheel chair access acts as an air lock to prevent premature deflation and is equipped with both zips and Velcro fastenings. The airy spacious feel of the domes is thanks to numerous controllable vents that allow a throughput of fresh air whilst exhaust air is able to exit without allowing extraneous light to enter. Domes are available in a variety of diameters and different heights. Domes are supplied with a users DVD manual. Inflation Fan. CosmoDome supply the necessary blower fans required for inflating the mobile domes. These allow an adjustable airflow rate of three settings that can displace between 2550 to 3500 cubic feet per minute. The fan is equipped with an adjustable handle and wheels for ease of movement
The CosmoDome System is a combination of quality hardware and software that integrates into one, easy to use, 'Full Dome' theatre product. Mirror Stand and Mirror. The sturdy but light weight 'Mirage' Mirror Stand supports not only the mirror but also the video projector. With four screw-on adjustable legs, the mirror can be folded inside for travel protection. The mirror is a carefully computed and custom made item that, coupled with custom software, reproduces the 'Full Dome' experience from a conventional projector. The stand is fitted with a patented fully adjustable projector mounting and allows for either Dell projector to be used. Apple Laptop. An Apple MacbookPro 17" is the ideal choice to control the projector and run the projection software. Video projector. At this time we unhesitatingly recommend either the Dell 5100MP or Dell 7609wu Video projectors. Both units are high definition projectors with extraordinary brilliance, contrast and colour. The Dell 5100 MP with its 1400 x 1024 Digital Light Processing chip can carpet the inside of the Cosmodome with 1,320,000 pixels. The sophisticated Dell 7609wu with its 1920 x 1200 DLP chip can project an amazing 2,190,000 pixels projected on to the dome and is recommended for larger Cosmodome systems. Sound System - Behringer Digital Monitor Speakers MS40. These 2 way active studio monitors are ideally suited to the Apple MacbookPro Lap Top computer and feature a built-in amplifier. The stereo enclosures contain two speakers apiece, a woofer and high-resolution tweeter. Both balance, treble and bass are fully controllable. Behringer loud speakers are famed for delivering a clear precise sound with a full and powerful bass.
